If you are new to the game or have dabbled at the driving range, to make improvement to your ability to strike the ball consistently and control its’ direction, you should learn the how’s:

  • How to position your hands on the grip
  • How to position the ball in relation to your stance and body
  • How to align your joints and aim at a target
  • How to judge when to use a full swing, a pitch or chip
  • How to putt the ball into the hole

If you don’t know how to complete these tasks or have some knowledge but need a refresher, start with the “INTRO TO GOLF” group class.

As you progress and have some experience playing, you should learn the why’s?:

  • Why does the ball roll on the ground?
  • Why does it curve to the right or left?
  • Why can I hit my 9 iron better than my 4 iron?
  • Why can’t I get the ball off the ground with my fairway metals?
  • Why do I strike the ball well on the range but not on the course?
  • Why do I 3 and 4-putt several times per round?
  • Why can’t I break 80, 90 or 100?

If you have some degree of competence with ball striking and short game techniques, but need to refine your skills, move to the “NEXT STEP” group class.

If you are an accomplish golfer, serious about improvement, you need to ask yourself these questions:
What are the strengths and weaknesses of my game?

  • Do I have evidence or data to support my first answer or am I guessing?
  • Do I play better in casual situations, when I play by myself or in a group of strangers?
  • Does my golf equipment fit me or am I just trying to buy a better game?
  • Do I have the flexibility and strength to match the swing I picture in my mind?

“ADVANCED FUNDAMENTALS” answers all these questions and shows you how to get the most out of your game.

Group lessons have a set program and schedule.  Any missed class is credited towards a “CLINIC”.  Students are encouraged to practice new skills 2 - 4 times between lessons for optimum retention.
